Merry Christmas: A Letter

Dear all Apex Chasers,

First of all, I would like to try and put into words the amount of gratitude that I feel every time I get to sit behind a microphone and record an episode.

...

Unfortunately I can't find the words. I want you all to know how insane it is to me that a little over seven months ago, Jacob Popio and I recorded our first episode in Dean Kahler's livingroom.

I know that it can seem that my team and I are constantly on the move and working. While we are all constantly pushing ourselves, we also take time to care for ourselves. Away from the technology and with the real people that matter most to us.

I urge you this Christmas to take time to reach out to long lost friends, as well as the ones that feel more like family. Take the time to spark a human connection with someone. The power contained within a simple "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Holidays" with a smile is immense.

Shut off the phones, and spend time reminiscing with a family member or a close friend. Spend time in the moment, for the moment.

If you're struggling this Christmas because of things in the past or issues that are currently happening. Don't be afraid to reach out. Reach out to a friend, a family member, or even DM me on instagram.

All of us here at JJD are wishing you the best.

Your Friend,

- Jan Almasy
